Information for citizens

The Government of the Republic of Slovenia entrusted ELES, as the national system operator, to provide reliable operation of Slovenia's transmission network and to meet the needs of consumers of electricity and power from the transmission system. In order to successfully carry out those tasks, ELES needs to construct new transmission lines and substations as well dilligently maintain the existing ones. Besides the technical and the economic criteria, ELES focuses a lot of their attention to the environmental criteria. We fully respect and consider those criteria when placing individual facilities into physical space, where we also come ino contact with the citizens, namely when we are selecting, designing and constructing new transmission line routes. We make our best effort to fulfill our mission, dedicating our utmost attention to the mutual cooperation.
