The company is aware that knowledge of electric power is of key importance for understanding transmission activity and the acceptance of the electric power facilities in the environment. Transmission lines and other electric power transmission network elements facilitate a comfortable life. Therefore, the company actively supports educational projects for the elimination of electric power illiteracy among the young. Together with the Faculty of electrical engineering, Gen Energija and EIMV, the company has been organising Elektrofest - the scientific festival for secondary school pupils. ELES is also a partner of the international EN-LITE project for spreading electric power literacy and supports the Ekošola programme and the national competition Eko kviz. The company also prepares books and various teaching aids.

Because it wants to contribute to a better quality of life, the company supports the activities of various associations, institutions and organisations working in the field of culture, sport, science and education. ELES makes donations to individuals, organisations and projects in the field of humanitarian activities and environmental care. It believes that its support contributes to more successful activity of the recipients and a better quality of life for the society they work in.
