New international e-mobility project for Slovenia

ELES and Renault cooperate in e-mobility project, designed in accordance with the E8 concept

Together with 32 partners from eight countries ELES designed the project "Large demonstratIoN of user CentrIc urban and long-range charging solutions to boosT an engaging deployment of Electric Vehicles in Europe - INCIT-EV".

The project aims to demonstrate an innovative set of charging infrastructures, technologies and its associated business models, ready to improve the EV users experience beyond early adopters, thus, fostering the EV market share in the EU. The project will seek the emergence of EV users’ unconscious preferences relying on latest neuroscience techniques to adapt the technological developments to the users’ subjective expectations. We want technology that will enable users to use e-vehicles as intuitively as possible, while not having a negative impact on the power system.

Because of the potential negative impacts of rapid increase in e-mobility to the electric power system is very important that e-mobility is also addressed by the electricity transmission system operators. First TSO’s that addressed this challenge and closely connected with the automotive industry, were Slovenian and Spanish TSO.

It should be emphasized that the INCIT-EV project is designed in accordance with the concept of integral development of infrastructure for mass charging of electric vehicles E8.

The project is co-financed by the European Union through Horizon 2020 in the amount of € 14,999,390.52.
