The ELES Company is dedicated to public operation. Its news is intended for all who are interested in its operation.
Forty-five participants from Slovenia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Russia and Serbia attended ELES’s first Hackathon. From 8. to 9. February 11 teams tried to find use cases for advanced analytics in physical asset management.
On Saturday, ELES’s CEO Aleksander Mervar welcomed the participants and wished them many smart and innovative ideas. After the teams were formed, they tried to find the most innovative idea with the biggest potential for realisation. Experts from ELES (Saša Jamšek, Uroš Kerin, Roman Tomažič, Uroš Salobir, Gorazd Ažman and Gregor Omahen) were available to the teams for further clarifications.
Teams worked long into the night on Saturday and resumed early Sunday morning as the ideas were presented to the jury on Sunday afternoon. The jury did not have an easy job, but the sum of points gained showed that the following teams occupied the first three places: ElectricCats from Slovenia (1st place), Jarvis from Serbia (2nd place) and ImprovizaThor from Slovenia (3rd place). Sincere congratulations to the winners!
